This is very unusual, but I had to go to Sequim today. I don't travel there for months and now I have been twice in 10 days. One of my hearing aids was not working and I wanted to take care of
it before I left for Florida. One convenience of buying something like a hearing aid from Costco is that you can pretty much find a Costco close enough to where you are that repairs can be taken care of pretty quickly. I put blinders when I went in and I didn't
make any impulse purchases. Except a double roll of goat cheese that I know my son and DiL like. I have never been this disciplined. On both coming and going to Sequim, there was work going on that had one way traffic for a short distance. Because of that
storm that we had last week, trees had to be cut and trimmed. The wait was about 15 minutes before it was our sides turn to use the one traffic lane. i didn't mind the wait at all. Who can complain when
you are in the most beautiful section of the drive. Discovery Bay was on one side. Green forest on both sides. The sky was a brilliant blue. The sun was shining . What's not to be happy about. The road , although there is a speed limit, is twisty turn-y, up
and down , around the mountain, ear popping, no shoulders , shared by delivery trucks, logging trucks, Mini vans and want to be race track drivers. What's not to like.
