Today was family meal, plus one. My DiL has her mother here for a visit. Bagels and lox was the meal of choice. There is a guy , here in PT, who bakes bagels .I am not sure if he bakes every day, or where he sells them. My
grandson orders and picks them up , fresh, on Sunday morning. Can't be any better than that. It was a typical grey day. Not cold, but definitely not summer. High 50's. Those two days of summer we had earlier this week,were 71 degrees. That is considered hot.
I sorted through my chest freezer after our meal,and made some chicken soup from the bones I saved from my Costco chickens. Now my big decision is if I should make matzoh balls , or go for my favorite , egg noodles. Maybe some of each. I have , just now, made
an executive decision. I will have both. Life is too short for compromise. Both will be just fine.
