ON THE BACK BURNER

What an absolutely beautiful day. I vote for at least 300 more like this.  Since it is Saturday, we were off to Sequim and  a few yard sales along the way. We don't want to have withdrawal symptoms. My son picked up four brass door knobs for $10. They were designed and made on the east coast in 1890. He looked them up on Google when we got home. They very much looked like the ones we had in our 100 year old Victorian house in Evanston. We did two  stops in Sequim. Walmart and Costco. There are some things that you just can't buy in PT. We got back to PT with enough time for me to just sit in a lawn chair and inhale the sweet scent of peonies and look up at the perfect blue sky . Dixie's allergies are in full bloom, so I gave her a snippet of Benadryl so she can get some sleep tonight. She sees the Vet in a few days and once she gets her shot, she's good for several months. It's a wonderful day in our neighborhood and I am just going to enjoy every hour left of day light.
