We made it to Estes Park, dry roads and no snow. Getting here was very nostalgic. Bob and I came for so many years. First me with a friend, then Bob, then children, then
all of the above and grandchildren. Today, we were assigned a cabin that we have never had before. The YMCA has this quaint way of refusing to tell you which cabin you are assigned to, until you check in. We have had accommodations all
over the property. Some years we have needed one bedroom cabins, some years four bedrooms and some years, two cabins. Which they never seemed to be able to give us cabins next to each other. Our cabin ,this
year is named... wait for it...." Leap of Faith" ! Love that. It is two bedrooms, brand new LG stove and brand new fridge. Our deck runs around three sides of the cabin and our view is Teddy's Teeth in the Roosevelt National Forest on our left side and the
Rocky Mountain National Park to our right view. My daughter and I just sat in our Adirondack chairs and completely relaxed. We planned our hiking schedule for the next three days. Because the season doesn't start until after Memorial Day, the hikes are pretty
easy. That sure works for me.
