ON THE BACK BURNER

What do we do for an encore ? Today was recovery  day. The last bags of garbage went out. I found a empty can of seltzer tucked some where. I ate the last of the stuffed olives. i did my last official  officiant duty, I hand carried the  signed marriage certificate   to the historic, massive ,foreboding Jefferson County CourtHouse. This wedding is now part of PortTownsend history. The bride and groom did not miss a beat and were both back working. The groom  because if he didn't complete a project today , it would throw off his projects next week. He did confess, that he worked  pretty slow and only worked half a day. The bride was on  crises call and unfortunately, she got a call. Good kids, both. We are not so tuned into the weather now that the wedding is over, and as you would expect, the sun was out and the thermometer way up near 60. Some family members are still sight  seeing in the Seattle area, most have flown back to their homes. I miss everyone already. I think that I will go move some rocks .
