ON THE BACK BURNER

One last party. A brunch ,held in the studio. The wood burning stove was blazing away because now, it was a grey, slightly drizzly day. We were so lucky with the weather. It was cold and grey, but no rain. The brunch was a continuation of the cocktail party, the wedding, the reception dinner and now the brunch. It was a moving party. Same people, different menu. A local baker did the bagels, Costco did the lox and Philadelphia did the cream cheese.  Perfect.The newly married couple have to be exhausted. I have one more job, that is to bring the legal documents to the CourtHouse and then my official role as officiant is over. I'm ready to do this again. I know a few couples who are the right age. I wonder if any will take me up on this. I work for hugs and kisses.
