ON THE BACK BURNER

I had lunch with my son, watching sailboats dock. It was more interesting than it sounds. There is a lot of sailboat activity, enough that there are two people who walk the dock with clipboards and walkie talkies, making sure that the boat in the slot has a paid reservation for that spot. Since the boats can't inter Canada, because of their travel restrictions for Covid, there are a lot of boaters pulling into PT for a get a way weekend. I was surprised to see so many dogs on boats. When we stopped in town to pick up our lunch, we happened to meet a couple walking 4 Scotties. Later, while we were sitting at a picnic table , eating our Sushi, we saw that same couple putting the pups aboard a pretty sleek boat. Lucky pups. I think that I have finished my beautification project, almost. I picked up my " hot lips" salvia and some grasses and  placed them . As soon as I can dig without my tooth hole pulsing, I'll plant them. they make a big splash next to the fence and I am really pleased with the way they look. By the time we have a wedding here in March, the yard will be finished. That's when I'll have to look for more projects. I bet I can find some.
