I have three plants that are humming bird magnets. Two of them are " Hot lips" in the Salvia family. The other plant is also in the Salvia family and its name is "Windwalker".I
just love the name Hot Lips. I love it so much that I am ditching trying to grow wild flowers and I ordered 10 more Hot Lips , plus 3 Windwalkers.The hummingbirds will go crazy. They already fight over the nectar in the flowers. another thing that they do
is fly through the spray of the hose when I am watering. I made a bird bath ,but they have never used it. I don't know why. I will be planting these Salvia where I tried to grow wild flowers. My wild flowers
never seemed to want to grow. After all of this time, they have grown only about a quarter inch. I can try to separate them and replant them or just ignore them and plant my salvia right next to them. Finally
the kids who live next door with their uncontrollable dog ,have left the premises. My son went to visit them in their new home, which is only 3 blocks away and he tells me that the dog bite the plumber at their new house. I am so glad that I can relax when
I walk down the street now. Somebody is going to report that dog sooner than later as dangerous.I am glad that it isn't me.
