One more dangerously hot day and we should be back to lower temps. We had our family meal on my deck and every now and then, a little wisp of air floated by. Because of the heat, I had delayed Dixie's evening walk until around
9 pm. Sunset is 9:11, so I still had plenty of time to get back to the house before it got dark. She is such a trooper, that the late walk didn't unsettle
her. I actually wonder about her bladder. It has to be as big as she is, because she goes hours without going. I always had to be back within a 4 hour range with most of our older rescue dogs. She is an unusual exception.My grandson has been on an egg salad
kick, for lunch. I make my son a variety of sandwiches. Tonight, at dinner, I asked my grandson if he wanted me to continue making egg salad everyday. He does. My son now wants egg salad every day, too.
i'll make it until they say that's enough. I think that I will get tired of making it before they say for me to stop.
