It happened. It is hot. Dangerously hot for the people here. Air Conditioning is not something a lot of people have . My pod has it and I used it this afternoon , for a few hours. I also have a fan, which Dixie loves. I hosed
her down, but before I could do that, I had to let the hose run a few minutes. The water in the hose ,plus whatever was near the surface of the spigot, was hot. Very hot. We found out what people do here
when the temperature gets near 100. We all drive to Sequim , in our Air conditioned cars, and go to Costco. Sequim is about 40 miles away and we met 4 people my son knows from PT. Our basket looked more interesting than theirs. Mine had the best of Costco,
salmon, smoked salmon, known as lox, herring and olive oil.They were serving samples again, but we had lunch at one of our favorite spots, Mc Donald's, and we weren't up for sauerkraut and smoked sausage samples. Before we went to Costco , had carried our
lunches to a shady spot near by and had a nice cool spot to eat our fish sandwiches and fries.If we hadn't stopped at McDonald's , we would have gotten the Costco hot dogs. We are both such cheap dates.
