I didn't realize that grass can grow so quickly. I was working on what I hope will be a wild flower bed and decided that the grass really should be mowed. I planted wild flower seeds weeks ago and I can see little shoots
breaking through, but they sure are slow. I cleared more lawn by mowing some underbrush by a huge tree. I've mentioned before ,that my son's house and one other house are on their block. Unfortunately, even with a whole block, the two houses are smack next
to each other. This wonderful tree hides the house and the neighbor's veggie garden. The neighbors are long term renters , young , very nice. Only thing is that their dog is the opposite . When I had Noodle here,I let it be known that if their dog,who is never
on a leash when he is out with them, attacks Noodle, I will kill him. I know that they believed me, because when they see me coming to or from a walk with Dixie, they take the dog in. I always breath a
sigh of relief, when their cars are gone. I can relax and not have to be on guard. Some times , when I am returning from a walk, I can see them out ,in front of their house. I stop at the top of the street and wait until they see me, so they can put their
dog in.They will be moving soon and although my kids say that they are great neighbors, I will be happy to see them go.
