How do you tell the difference between a weed and the veggie. My son advised me to taste the leaf to see if it tastes like a veggie. Things haven't matured enough to distingue a weed from a veg. Dill, I can tell because already
it looks like dill. But arugula looks like a weed to me. I have eaten a lot of arugula these last few days. Still in the ground, and slightly dirty. Every day, I check my tomato plants .There are a few flowers and lots of healthy leaves. I am hopeful. It has
been on the dry side here. I keep moving the sprinkler, every20 minutes. I even set a timer so that I don't forget to move it. I have to admit that I hate our sprinkler. I have lost track of the number
of times that I have accidentally sprayed myself, trying to adjust it. I want to keep the water in our yard, not the neighbors, on the grass, not my
deck. I really like just standing out side with a hose in my hand, watering, but I never have the time to let the ground get really wet. That's why the sprinkler is better . And an added bonus, the humming birds and Robin's love to fly in and out of the spray.
That is so cool.
