It was boys night at my pad. The ladies, down from three to two, celebrated The New Moon. That sure worked for me. brisket, mashed potatoes and asparagus,by me, followed by home made fresh orange jc/ vanilla ice cream, brought by my grandson. There is nothing more comforting than this kind of meal.You don't even need to talk. Just swallow and eat some more.This is the first time that I have used all four dinner
plates since I came here, 11 months ago. In fact, I must not have ever used the plates because they still had sticker tags on the backs. They don't any more. I also got to use my electric knife for the second time . The first being Thanksgiving. I knew it
was a wise decision to get that knife at Goodwill. There are two uses for electric knives.. slicing even slices of turkey and the same for brisket. How many months now until Thanksgiving?
