ON THE BACK BURNER

My DiL is really into the wedding of her nephew ,who is my grandson. The wedding will be in the back yard , a year from now. The dirt that we have been talking about for months will be here soon. The tents that we have been using for movie night and meals will probably be put away to keep them  looking fresh. Today she told me of some more plans that she has for the gardens. But there is one " thing" that overwhelms the yard and that may present a problem. My son's sail boat ,which is under a tarp , and not going anywhere. It's not like some motor boat sitting in a driveway. It's a pretty large sailboat that sleeps a number of people. I can't see it from my pod,but it definitely has a presence. It's a work not in progress.Up until last year, he done some exciting sails ,but not on his boat. He has been working on it for at least the last three years. I think with sailers, it's part of the journey to just have a boat to spend time fixing up. My DiL and I were thinking of decorating it for the wedding. I have a feeling that that won't be well received.
