I really needed a hair cut. Actually, I needed a hair style. I went on Google and took down the name of the first five salons that popped up. three didn’t answer, which makes me think that they didn’t reopen.
One I left a message saying that I hadn’t been to a salon since December, 2019 , they didn’t return my call. The last on the list was a message saying that I should call my stylist direct. Which
didn’t help, because I don’t have a stylist. There was only one thing to do. Take the clippers out from under the bathroom basin and go for it . My hair cut doesn’t look too bad and it is definitely an improvement .My Colorado daughter is
part of a group of volunteers who are asked to bring their therapy dogs to places in the state that have had a catastrophe. They have given support to survivors and their families when holding a dog, or when petting a dog can give some comfort. . They haven’t
been active in a year because of Covid. They just got asked to go to Boulder this week end, for comforting the families and anyone else who needs some support ,after the shootings in the grocery store.
I’ve written before about my daughter and son in laws dogs. They are all rescue dogs ,with missing limbs. So five dogs will have a total of 10 limbs. Some are trained for visiting hospitals along
with their catastrophe support. The dogs don’t know that they are different. They get along fine using wheels for the missing legs, or scooting on their chests. Bob and I baby sat them one day when we were visiting ,and
by the time I got all of the appliances on multiple dogs, I was in a sweat. Reminded me of putting kids in one piece snow suits and one saying they had to go to the bathroom.
