We had our family meal today and,drum roll, by tomorrow , everyone, including My DiL’s bro, will have their first Covid vaccination. I am ahead of the crowd with
mine all done, but, I am an over achiever! This makes me so happy. What I am doing to celebrate and make this a momentous occasion is ,for every couple who is two weeks past their second vaccination, I will have them for dinner. I have been here since, June
3, 2020, and no one has been in my pod to eat with me. All of our meals have been outdoors. Very healthy, but not the same as sitting down in a warm, cozy trailer. My guest will have to bring their own folding chairs. I checked and I only have two chairs.
The chairs that we use outdoors might work if we clean the mud off of the legs. Right now, most of the chairs have tennis balls on the legs so that they don’t sink into the mud. This is a new development. We moved the tents from the grassy area to make
way for a dirt delivery to level the yard. The new spot for the two tents is a little less green. Raining every other day hasn’t helped. Even Dixie has a chair in the tent. She doesn’t like to get her feet wet, so she has a blanket on a chair that
we share. Before I figured this method out, she complained a lot and glared at me. I am glad that we came to terms on this .It’s a little creepy to be glared at by a 14 lb. mutt.
