I’ve mentioned a couple of times how my son has 2 houses on his block, his and a close neighbor. Across the street is an entire city block of woods, followed by
city owned woods that are the woods trail that I walk Dixie on. Bucolic, quiet,private. For sale signs and plot markers went up on the entire block that is not owned by the city. I
first suggested that we knock the signs down with our cars. But no one would. Then I volunteered my son to dig up the posts. He refused. Now my plan is this... if we see anyone looking at the lots for building , we quick bring out cans of beer, blacken our
front teeth, lawn chairs, a few tires and play like the Beverly Hillbillies. This isn’t going over as much as I thought it would. My other hope is that the lots are priced out of reach.
