Only 3000 miles to go and I am back in what is my new normal. Actually, I am looking forward to what is now my routine. The first day that I was back in Venice, I had a restless night. When I did fall asleep, I woke up and
the first thought that I had was, “I gotta walk the dog”. And speaking of dog, Dixie was terrible. My DiL had to ask me where I kept Dixie’s drugs. I feel bad for both my DiL and for Dixie. Living in my trailer, right next to the woods, on
a street that has two houses, makes for a quiet neighborhood. I had trouble sleeping here because I wasn’t used to the noises that were just background before. I woke up a few times hearing sounds that I don’t think were really there. I had planned
to bring back things that I missed. In the end, I didn’t miss things enough to want to bring them to PT. I did take a pile of old photo’s to show the kids. My son had said that he didn’t have pictured of his Dad. And with a fiancé and a girl friend joining the family, it’ll be fun to look at these old pictures. I also have pictures of every dog we ever had. They are family , too. And they all added stories that make us have some great
tales. Wagging ,of course.
