I thought that three days would take care of all that I had to do. And it is enough time. If I stayed longer, I would find more things to do . I cleaned up my little neglected garden. That wasn’t on my to do list. That
is what happens. One project leads to another and since I don’t expect to be back for awhile, I have to remind myself to just let it go. Being in Venice with so many people was an act of over stimulation. People, cars, traffic lights. A new traffic light
at the popular Farmer’s Market. The one where you had to turn right, even if you wanted to go left, because you couldn’t get across the street. The new hospital almost
complete. A row of three story apartment units. That was quick. We have these things in PT, but on such a smaller scale. I actually don’t think we have traffic jams in PT. I’m not sure, but I
think that I only know of about 3 or 4 traffic lights. maybe there are more, but not where I travel. PT has two franchise that I know of.. Subway and
Mc Donald’s .No CVS, No Walgreen. No office supply store. No Target, No Walmart no Costco. The pharmacies are in the grocery store/ General store and one private pharmacist. But there are two veterinarians. Two pet stores. No orthopedist. One hardware
store. Three round abouts, but they are only one lane and that seems easy to handle. if you want to get your boat serviced, new sails, new everything that a sailer needs, PT is the place for you. I think that the boat yards have more boats stored and serviced
than there are motorized vehicles in town. And I can’t forget Goodwill. And there you bring your own bags, or you end up carrying your purchases in your arms. No free standing Starbucks. It is in the grocery store. And oh yes, people que up to check
out of some stores. quaint, but lovable.
