The weirdest thing happened this morning. I get up before Dixie. Her routine is to crawl out from under the covers, lay in the direction that she thinks I am, and just keep looking in that direction. She is in no hurry to
get off the bed, which is too high for her to jump off. At least, I don’t want her to jump. After I have dressed and had my coffee,I talk to her about what a good girl she is. This morning , she smiled at me. I documented it because she has never done that before. And I haven’t been able to get her to do it again. When I saw her smile, I burst out laughing. It just made me laugh. And she just
kept on smiling . I can’t wait to see if she does it again or was it gas.
