Vacination number 2. Done and done. I feel good. I knew that I would. That’s a song, in case you don’t hear me singing. Although I know that my limited exposure to the world isn’t going to dramatically change,
there is a feeling of relief that my body is now digesting this inoculation. And as a bonus....The SUN came out . That makes everything brighter and greener and more positive. Sunday brunch/ lunch is coming up and because three members of the family have commitments,
the 4 left have voted for an all American ,stick to your ribs, calorie laden, high cholesterol, need a nap afterwards breakfast. Bacon, eggs cooked to order( probably in bacon fat) hash browns, donuts and muffins. And lots of coffee. And thinking about coffee..
I have a new procedure. My coffee just hasn’t tasted special . So I went to Google and found out what makes a special cup of coffee. I measured my measuring. I was way off. Just not right. I went
to my digital scale . Measured grams and ounces against what I was using. Now I use precise measurements and the coffee is perfect. To facilitate early morning weigh ins for water and coffee, I premeasure my
coffee and put them in baggies ,stored in a closed container. Empty the baggie into the filter basket, pour in cold water to the mark that I made on the coffee carafe,
press “ on”, and in a few minutes, I have my perfect cup of coffee. Sitting here ,in the dark , before the world of Port Townsend is up is a special ,quiet time. Worth the effort.
