ON THE BACK BURNER

It was a beautiful day in Port Townsend. Flowers are already starting  to bloom and the grass has stayed green all winter. There have been a few days where the temperature in Florida have been colder than here. I did’t expect to see flowers when I walk with Dixie. The blooming ones are where  the sun hits them most of the day. I have a few spots in the yard where that happens. I plan to throw out wild flower seed, deer proof ones, and hope for the best.My grandson had ordered many, many veggie seeds, so now , we will decide which ones we want to plant and start working on it. Last summer was the coldest on record, so it might be a short growing season. Cold summer, warm winter... could this be a trend?
