Well,tomorrow is practice and video evening for “ Bubbe and the Pickles”. That is the name of our family band.The name comes from a long line of pickle-holics . One of our kids use to eat a pickle by sucking the
insides out before eating the frame that was left. I think we gave this same kid a commercial size jar of pickles for her birthday, one year. I especially like Bubbies pickles as my pickle of choice. I guess the name for our little music group started here
in Port Townsend when I kept complaining that my favorite pickles, which I can only get at one of the two grocery stores here, cost $10. a jar. Outrageous. But I
bought them any way. My grandson says that maybe Bubbies Pickles will sponsor us. That is an hilarious thought. But hey, stranger things have happened.
