I have a friend, as old as I am. We met in 5 th grade. Now ,he is the person who has known me longer than anyone else around. Isn’t that a creepy thought. And we aren’t even related. I haven’t seen him in
person, since we graduated from High school. How our lives just went in different directions,but good ones. We both married, moved away from N.O. Had
kids, lost spouse and are still active and independent. I just had this thought the other day,because for some strange reason, I always remembered the date of his birthday. I guess that is long term memory
at work. And he just had a birthday.We are both very fortunate to still be kicking, but maybe not as high as we once did.
