ON THE BACK BURNER

OK ,people. Someone is getting careless here in Port Townsend. 5 people have tested positive. That is the largest single day’s count since I got here in June. This is exactly what I was concerned about.I suspected that after the Christmas holiday, the count would rise and it has. That means that I have to continue being vigilant. I really want to go to Sequim( remember, it is Squim). It has a Costco, and Home Depot. Now, I won’t take that chance. Bummer. We have had our second consecutive day of rain and high winds. The rain came down hurricane force. That’s OK. But the wind has the trees around me rattling and because I am practically in the woods, the noise from the wind is like a leaf blower... all day. I got as far as the corner with Dixie and we both felt as if we would blow over. we agreed that going back home was a good thing. Oh boy, my trailer just shook.  I thought winds died down at night. guess I was wrong about that.
