Technology is wonderful. I can remember my Grandmothers phone. It was black and had a stem that you talked into and another thing that you held up to your ear. I think you screamed into it because you couldn’t believe
that the other end could hear you. Then the phones shrunk. Ours was still black, but you held the receiver and could talk and hear with the same apparatus. I think we stopped hollering into the receiver.
Then came the wall phone and the long cord. Then cordless and now the cell. but wait , there is more,we talked to Israel while we all were eating brunch this morning and... still more... we could see each other. And now tell
me that this isn’t progress ? It is amazing actually. When I was a kid and was sick in bed, I would look at the pictures of “ the future”in the encyclopedia . It has come true. And the
only reason that I can spell encyclopedia is because of WaltDisney.
