ON THE BACK BURNER

I started my garden today by pulling weeds and bunches of parsley that went to seed. I couldn’t bear to throw away the parsley, so I cleaned a lot of it ,dried it and now am trying to dry  it enough that I can freeze it and use it when I need it. Last time that  I got my hands on a lot of parsley, I made pesto out of it. It worked as a good substitute for basil .I can’t believe it is already December. I have been here since june 6 th. Lock down starts tonight. Since I haven’t been any where or eaten in a restaurant,or been with people without masks, nothing will change for me.I do wish  that I had brought more clothes with me. And socks. and more than one pair of pj’s. It is possible to live very comfortably with what I brought, but it gets a little boring. I brought these pj’s to Israel because they worked great on the Army base. I’m just tired of washing them,  putting them back on, washing them, putting them back on. See what I  mean.
