Today was a continuation of the day before. My son was under the trailer for 10 hours, but he fixed my plumbing problem. It was not clean and tidy work. I did what I could to help, but it was minimal. Today is my car day, but
I was in no mood to do my favorite pastime, GoodWill. I went instead to the hardware store, where I meet my DiL buying my son sturdy rubber gloves. I went in for a broom. I came out with five different items to make me feel better. The day before, before we
knew what was coming up with the plumbing, or down, as the case may be, my DiL moved those boulders that I couldn’t budge and rearranged some rocks to make my walk way look even more polished. We planned some spring plantings and commiserated about the
deer eating my newly planted camellias. They were supposed to be deer proof. She also planted spring bulbs around Bob’s apple tree and got it ready for winter. I didn’t help at all because of my thumb. My job is to keep it clean. I am surprised
how much better it feels and how well it is healing. I only knocked it once, big time, today. That was to remind me that it was there.
