I think that winter has hit. I turned on the heat for the first time. It makes a lot of noise, but it does the job. It is propane run and that reminds me of our cottage.
We used propane and the worse thing that could happen would be that the delivery man might not be able to get to your house because of the road. We never actually ran out, but sometimes it was pretty close. Our wall furnace had a heart beat. When it kicked
in, it would beat a few minutes and then blow this hot air out. The kids would fight to sit in front of it on really cold days. Our cottage was year round insulated
but I don’t think the cottage stood a chance on those cold Michigan week ends that we spent there. Our windows would have frost.. on the inside. It made men out of us.
