It is really dark at 7 o’clock, either AM or PM. When the clocks fallback at standard time, it will still be night,or at least, it will feel like night when I walk Dixie. I have a great head light that I wear when I
take Dixie out. Some how, she taught herself that I need a few minutes to get it on my head. She waits quietly while I do this. The difference in this behavior is that during the day when I take her out, she goes bonkers while I put on her leash. She has figured
out that I need those minutes to put on the lamp, but I don’t need any time for the leash. I started her training again for time spent in her travel crate. “ We “ are up to 5 minutes. The flight is 5 plus hours. I have a lot of work to do.
Did I say that the scale went up and not down for her? It did. Now, for real, she has to be on a diet. Only her kibbles. No sharing that last bite of buttered toast. No falling for those little grunts as she watches me eat. But she is so cute . I need intervention.
