Today was croquet day. Our neighbor seriously plays croquet. It’s not a bad way to entertain. They do it quite often. We can hear them cheering or moaning. The guy spends hours mowing the court. I can hear his mower
, so I know that they have a game planned. Their games start around 2 and go as long as 3 hours. They play by the rules and actually, it is a lot of fun to play by the rules. I lost. The only game that
I play well enough is probably games that involve leg strength. My eye hand coordination must be terrible, because I don’t seem able to hit a ball.
Dixie was invited to the game. She followed me around the course and she only got hit once. That was by me. I felt terrible. That really confused her. She thought that she could trust me. This is what I mean by hand eye coordination. I saw her, I aimed my
self so I wouldn’t hit her, I called for her to move, I swung, and I hit her. But only just. A dog biscuit does wonders for building trust again.
