Mother Nature did it again.It was Friday and it rained. It is said that you can’t fool MotherNature, but we have found a way. We celebrate Saturday, which technically ,is still Shabbat. Only we don’t have candles
and wine. Some how, that doesn’t go with Brunch. I do still bake little challahs for us to each have in our own space on Friday’s. I am getting better at it, too. This weeks was so good, that I ate mine Friday at lunch. I had to try it . I would not be happy if I gave the kids their Challah’s and they were not good. So now I have an apple cake made for our brunch. I used the last of
the apples from Bob’s tree. The cake is sitting on the table, ready to serve.I tried just to pull a little sample off, just checking if it is good. It is. The kids should thank me for doing this public service. You can hardly see where I tested it.
