ON THE BACK BURNER

I keep thinking that I am not being productive  enough. But then I tally up everything that I have done in a day, and I am relieved to think that I am no slouch. Beside making English muffins and sharing them, I started painting my flowers. By the time I came to finishing one, I was getting painters fatigue. It’s hard staying in the lines. Especially working in red. One slip and  red paint is where it isn’t meant to be. I had to order my groceries on line again. I usually do it on Thursday, but with Rosh Hashonah, I was concentrating so hard on that meal, that I forget some things. This is where having a car would come in handy. I ordered and my son picked up the order. I ordered a bunch of beets with the leaves. I got one huge beet. That is when I really missed having a car. So now, I will buy a clunker to keep here. My son found one on Craig’s list for under $1000. No back seat. That is not a deal breaker,  but the manual drive is. I can drive stick, but I won’t on these hills. I want to be able to press on the pedal and go, fast, uphill. Keep looking.
