It was Friday, so ,of course, it rained. We celebrated Shabbat and erev Rosh Hashonah under beach umbrellas at our individual cafe tables. it is festive to have all of
these colorful beach umbrellas in the yard. We have this not normal Shabbat under control. The food is arranged on a long table distant from everyone. Our cafe tables are in a large circle. The Shabbat candles,wine and challah
are in the center. Everyone has their own dishes. We go up to serve ourselves one at a time. Then we relax,say the blessings, take in that Shabbos breath and enjoy. Who cares if it is a little on the damp side. hardly notice it.
