ON THE BACK BURNER

My grandson told me why I couldn’t post yesterday. I understand, but it seems nuts. Because I was using quote marks, followed by a period and the next sentences followed without a space... made it look like it may have been a web site. Still with me ? After I made the corrections by eliminating the sentence completely,I could post. HereI thought I was saying something subversive. I was just saying that I was happy that my grandson was back. We celebrated Bob’s apple tree. All of us who planted it last Thanksgiving ate apples and honey. It was super special. Now I realize that I haven’t cooked a Rosh Hashonah meal in years. Lunch after services with a lot of our congregation was what we did. Now, I want to cook everything I remember from past Rosh Hashonah’s... but won’t. I will bake a challah filled with apples, I made an apple cake, chicken is cleaned and ready to go. I made the balsamic reduction for the veggie meal. I am ready. l’ shona tovah to all and to all.. be well . That is what is important.
