ON THE BACK BURNER

I was able to go to Sequim, don’t forget, it is pronounced S’quim, about 25 miles away to a Costco  and have my hearing aids upgraded. Before I went, I confirmed with them what precautions they were taking. I was assured that they abide by the CDC protocol. Took my temp when I got there. Saw that I was wearing a N95 mask, so they didn’t have to give me one and the person taking care of me had a face shield ,plus aN95 face mask. I was so anxious to leave when I was finished with my appointment that I forgot to get chicken thighs. ! I did remember Kalamata olives, though. Our beautiful tent is up and waiting for the next family meal. The only problem is that I was growing grass just where we placed it. The grass variety is called “playground” ,so maybe it has a fighting chance. My grandsons girlfriend brought me 3 huge black trash bags filled with yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, buttons  and a few half finished projects. It belonged to her brothers fiancé. They were moving to Hawaii and were betting rid of “stuff”.I got permission to donate anything that I didn’t find useful. Even after I took what I wanted, there were 3 bags full. Someone is going to love Goodwilling  this yarn.
