rake, rake, pull and toil.I’m up to more grass seeds. I don’t know what possessed my son to plant rye and clover. This rye was great while it was green and waving
in the breeze , but now dried, it looks like straw, ready to be bailed. I fill a couple of wheel barrows a day with it. There is a trick to getting it up. Go as close to the roots as possible and then pull.I think I’ve done as much as I can with removing
it. Now to get more grass seed. I should have bought a bigger of it when I went to the garden shop last week. I seem to go once a week. Every store in PortTownsend is observing the no mask, no entrance
decree. There’s yellow tape every six feet, arrows pointing which way to go. There is a sign at the cash register that says” back up”. Makes me feel a little more secure. I am so used to my masks, that I noticed ,today, that I was wearing
mine while I worked in the yard.. and no one else was home.
