ON THE BACK BURNER

My planting is on hold. The garden shop has to order my grasses and they can’t guarantee that they will even get them. Bummer. I have already prepared the area for them. Maybe  I should have gotten the plants first. my grandson and daughter in law have cut most of her lavender and have made fantastic bundles of them and hung them from the rafters  in my son’s studio. I have a wreath  made from them and they secured it to a wire thingy that keeps the deer from eating a new plum tree that is growing outside of my deck.I can smell the lavender from my deck chair. I know that I am being kept captive here by the Covid-19 ,but how can I complain. I heard that my son’s friend who still lives in Chicago, drove to Naples and abducted his Grandmother, bringing her back to Chicago. If I have to be abducted, I vote for Port Townsend.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
