ON THE BACK BURNER

Mulching done. Wagon assembled and ready to work. Stuffed cabbage in fridge . Wait , that is for Shabbat dinner. I started cleaning out the rye from last winter. I am turning over the dirt in an eyebrow shape . I have a lot of dirt available from the hill I lower. The path around Ella Faye ,with the plantings and the mulch looks really nice. We decided that Ella Faye needs a larger face mask. My daughter in Colorado says that Ella may be a mouth breather and so we have to put a more substantial mask on her. We will have to scrounge around to find some material. None of us are making any unnecessary visits to any stores. I didn’t get to go with my son to buy my wagon, which is green, not red. He thought it would put me in a compromised position. How  can I leave this place when so many are looking out for me.? The grasses that I hope the garden shop has is called Karl Foresta  feather reed grass and Japanese Blood grass.  if they don’t have it, I’ll check with Amazon. So far, they’ve had everything that I ever wanted. Dixie is having a great time exploring the out buildings. She just discovered the wood shed. Must be a lot of yummy mice hiding out in there.  Except for our twice a day official business walks, she goes untethered . She will have a lot of adjusting to do when we bet back to Venice. Hope she can make the adjustments. Air conditioning, side walks.
