We had my coming out celebration and it rained. And it rained. bummer. But still wonderful. We had a Shabbat, in the rain.We practiced social distancing, in the rain.
My son and daughter in law, along with my Grandson and his girl friend sat at the round table under the sun umbrella. I sat 6 feet away at a small garden table, under just enough of a shelter that I almost got rained on. Dixie sat in the doorway, out of the
rain. It was the best. Dinner was wonderful. Wine good. Challah also good. Dishes , biodegradable, throw away.Perfect evening. We will do it again next Shabbat, only I will order a warmer, no rain evening.
On second thought, who cared if it rained. We were together ,qwe were well and that is all that truly matters.
