Getting more settled today. It is so strange not to jump in the car and run to the store, or to my favorite hardware store. My grandson and his girl friend left their car for me while they are working in Alaska. So far, I
haven’t sat behind the wheel.I let Dixie Cup off leash in the yard today. She wouldn’t leave my side.Her happy place is where I am. This is
week 6 for Dixie. I think that she is getting spoiled. She wants to join me at meals. . My son went to the grocery store for me today. He had my list.
I was impressed. He got everything on it, but one item. I had put yeast on the list so that I could make some English muffins, now that I know how easy it is to make them. No yeast. That doesn’t surprise me, since I heard that yeast and flour fly off
of the shelves. I think my daughter in law has some sour dough starter .Maybe she will give me some to make my own sour dough supply. I’ll share muffins with her. That’ll work for all of us.
