I took Dixie for her first Vet visit and my second trip away from my development. I felt like Rip Van Winkle. I saw a sign for gas... it was so much less than it was before I left town Feb. 26 th. My credit card statement
for last month was a surprise. It was three figures , rather than the four figures that it usually is. That showed me how easy it is to dispose of disposable income. That was a lesson that I will embrace after I am able to go about what will become my normal
life. I am listening to my friends who are experiencing some of the same lack of motivation as I am. I don’t have the patience to read a serious book. I am knitting a mindless beanie to cover
my buzz cut. I rather like my buzz, even though I don’t know what to do with it. Little Dixie had her introduction to my Vet, who has taken care of any dog or dogs that we have had over the last 14 years. The visit didn’t go that well for poor
Dixie. Hook worms, being the reason for her distress. I have 3 meds plus a low fat special canned dog food. The patient is resting comfortably. And she may be much older than I was first told. Please don’t
tell her. She has had enough to process this day.
