Did anyone see the moon the other night. Dixie was restless and I was out several times during the early morning, 12:30, 2:45 4:30 to be exact. It was my fault. I am changing
her diet and I was too aggressive . I should have made the change more slowly. But it was wonderful to see that moon. That made me think about some things that I have been observing around my condo. The other early morning, a small owl was sitting on the hood
of my neighbors car. Maybe all owls are small. Maybe it was a baby. I’ve only seen one owl in my life and I thought it was pretty big. Then the birds have been doing strange things. They are flying back and forth between a large bush and a pine tree.
Back and forth. Several cardinals and a couple of Jays. Two doves are living under my carport roof. It might be mating season or they are nesting, but they are very active. And the bunny rabbits. Every late afternoon when the sun has changed position, they
come out to play. These things of nature may have always been here, but now I have the time to just sit and watch. I don’t mind at all.
