ON THE BACK BURNER

I did a couple of things differently today.I bought a ukulele.  It took me a few hours to tune it. The strings are different  from the violin. Instead of GDAE, it is GCAE, I think. Then you strum, not bow. After a few hours, I can pick “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. “ I still can’t strum. That will be the next lesson. That was exhausting. A friend brought me a 750 piece puzzle of the Seattle, Washington sky line. I spent a very long time sorting the pieces by color. To expedite the process, I took most of my plastic containers and put the sorted colors in separate containers. I was hoping that this would help. It did a little. But I read on the box that the puzzle is 3 feet square. Now it is taking up my dining room table. I don’t know what I will do if I want to change the table cloth.I guess that I don’t have to worry too much about the table cloth,I can always eat standing over the sink. This is my 35 th day of self isolation.
