I usually do my walk very early in the morning. I may see one or two dog walkers and a few lone walkers. We wave to each other and I move either onto the neutral ground that divides the traffic or even cross over the neutral
ground to walk facing the wrong way, keeping more than my distance from the others. This morning , I started out during day light. What a difference. It was like a parade. Bikes, walkers, dogs. People walking in pairs, next to each other. There was no social
distancing , and I don’t think the pairs of walkers were family members. There was a crowd. I went back home. I’ll get my walks in at sunrise. Just me and dog walkers and a few lone walkers.Play it safe is my new mantra.
