story buildings, no elevators. This was a German neighborhood and it is sometimes called the German Colony. There were also Brits here and there is a square park with beautiful stone homes surrounding it. The British officers lived there and the open park
was parade ground. This is not a low priced area. Apartments start at one mil. That is why so many rent. You would have to win the lottery to buy a house.I saw Netanyahu’s home. The street is Yoni Sq., named for his brother Yoni who was killed in Entebbe
in 1976. We passed my hero, Schransky’s house. Both Netanyahu and Schransky have regular Israeli homes. Just guys in the neighborhood. My son in law says he sometimes sees Schransky just doing everyday things. Cool.They have great kids and dog parks.
The dog park has an obstacle course for the dogs, shade,water. The kids have the neatest equipment. If there hadn’t been kids there letting out their excess energy before having to be locked down, I would have tried the jungle gym.
