I just found out that it is easy to pick up a man, even if you don’t want too. I had to leave the house because the contractor was making too much noise and I was
cold because I had the temperature set too low so that they were comfortable in a closed room. I meant to go to the library, But for some reason, I
was in the wrong lane to make a left turn and before I made any decision, I was at the beach. I parked, bought a cup of overpriced, bad coffee and walked onto the beach. They had some benches nearby, and
each bench had one person sitting on it. I just took a seat at the closest bench and sat down at the end . There was a man reading the morning paper at the other end. I was not going to try to be friendly, so I just sat.The wind tried to blow
his paper away and he said some thing about how hard it was hard to read a paper at the beach. Then I responded and before we knew it, I knew a lot about him, such as, his first job after graduating from
Indiana was in chicago and he lived in Evanston. Small world. then later , when I did go to the library, as I was leaving my car, the driver of the car next to me was also getting out to enter the library. He started complaining about
how technology was spoiling kids by not encouraging them to actually look up question in reference books. I am not sure what vibes I was giving off about this conversation. Today was actually the first
time that I had two men start up conversations with me. It was an ego booster.
