Well, the floor is going down. I forgot to get spacers. The only spacers that I know are braces. I guess I haven’t been around flooring departments a lot. They come in increments. I got the wrong size. My contractor
returned them for the correct size. They are the things that separate the tiles from each other. In the end, grout goes in the spaces. This keeps everything straight. The carpet that was taken out was a disgrace. After it
was rolled in neat cigar shaped segments, I could see where various dogs peed through the fabric. I am surprised that it didn’t smell worse. I have three rows of tile down. I have instructions not
to walk on it until morning. Good, because that is a good enough excuse for me not to walk in and start painting that last fourth wall.
