I didn’t have any bread for my morning toast or for my lunchtime sandwich. No problem. I worked around that.
Then later ,I was scrolling through stuff on my iPad and I came
to one of my favorite food sites. There was a recipe for English Muffins. Why not? If I can drive cross country, paint a room,etc,etc, I can make English muffins.I had all of the ingredients, I wanted some bread, so go for it. I actually made English muffins.
They look like english muffins and they taste way better than the ones that have been on the shelf for a while. They looked like flat bagels without a hole when I started, they actually rose in the pan.
No oven, stove top ,in a heavy skillet. 7-10 minutes each side. I can’t believe it. English muffins in Venice, Florida.Small world.
