Day three . Painted one more wall. These crannies and swirls are a pain. I decided that a roller just takes me longer. I have my own technique. The last wall will have to wait until the
contractor comes. I can’t budge the bed. I cleaned the brushes and sealed the paint can. That is it until the bed is moved. This morning ,before I painted, Teddy and I did our first scheduled walk. My Colorado daughter gave me a walking program to prepare me for the 10 K that I will walk with my Israeli daughter ,in March. It’s a good thing that we are doing distance and not time. Our walk was very exciting. First
, a neighbor stopped us to talk about Teddy’s separation anxiety. Then we met at least 5 dogs and that meant sniff time for the four legged ones. After that we met a couple that I know who were about to go on the Legacy Bike path. I stopped to talk and
then turned away from them to continue out static walk. I heard a crash and when I turned around , the friend was on his back and his bike was on the ground. He must have fallen when he threw his leg over the bar. I ran back to him, and once we established
that nothing was broken, just bloody,he got up and decided not to ride today. Teddy and I finally made it home . I felt like I was part of a Dr.Seuss story,”To think that I saw it
on Mulberry Street “.
